Tecumseh Drive Project

Our customers at this project on Tecumseh Drive had a lawn made primarily of weeds that they wanted removed and new grass planted instead. To start, we used special weed removal chemicals to kill large portions of the weeds and then we de-thatched the lawn and aerated it to prepare the ground for seed. We spread a tall fescue grass seed and covered it with a layer of peat moss to help retain moisture and fertilize the soil. At Hudson Family Lawn Care, we also understand the importance of educating our customers on the steps they need to take for proper watering to ensure the seeds germinate as well as proper mowing instructions for the best health of the lawn so we make sure each of our customers are comfortable with these steps and we check in often during the germination process.

After a couple of weeks, we began to see the efforts of our labor and were rewarded with a beautifully lush, green lawn. We completed some strategic mowing to ensure the best health of the new grass and helped answer any additional questions our customers had. In the spring, we plan to finalize our attack on any remaining clover.
